These negatives were part of a collection of over 20,000 images captured by teacher and photographer J. Lindsay Thornburn from 1950-1983. They were originally housed in an envelope with handwritten title "Port Elgin Town Council and 1951 Inauguration" which was in a container bearing a date of 1950-1957. |
