Hydro came to Lucknow in 1921 (page 25). The caption for a photograph used in the book "A Glimpse of the Past : a historical chronicle of Lucknow, the sepoy town, 1858-1983" featuring the building containing the businesses of Pudhope Carriages, Deering Farm Machines and W.G. Andrew Farm Implements, cites that it was located on the present lot of Montgomery Motors (page 28). This business is located on Campbell Street. "A Glimpse of the Past : a historical chronicle of Lucknow, the sepoy town, 1858-1983" cites that Campbell Street was paved [by] October, 1926 (page 27). |
