Negative photographs featuring the retirement party for A.W. Saxton plant superintendent of the Stevens-Hepner Company. A2013.012.04538: Picture of the retirement presentation for Mr. A.W. Saxton plant superintendent held in the firms offices Friday October 02, 1959. Mr. Saxon is seated on the left of the picture, partially hidden by the floral bouquet on the table. Mr. Ralph J. These negatives were part of a collection of over 20,000 images captured by teacher and photographer J. Lindsay Thornburn from 1950-1983. They were originally housed in an envelope with handwritten title "A. Saxton Presentation" which was in a container bearing a date of 1957-1961. |
