Description |
Black and white negative picturing Kate Mickle kneeling behind her daughter Dorothy MIckle seated on a sled. They are on 1st. Avenue South, Chesley in front of the Post Office. Next door is an overhead sign for General Merchant Flour Feed. At the corner of the street is a sign for the Sam Sing Laundry. The bridge is pictured with the Chesley Woolen Mill in the background. All of the buildings and streets are snow-covered. |

Item was discovered in the house formerly occupied by C.J. and Kate Mickle located at 192 2nd Ave. SW, Chesley. The materials were then given to neighbours and donated to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in 2022. |
