Beneath the image is written: "Mae [May], Alan Petz, Tom Ferris & wife, John, Flora, Jim, Pearl P., Bill, Alice Joe, Barbara, Wellington, Merle, Isla [Ila]" In the back rows, the women are Ida May Ferris, Tom Ferris' wife (Elizabeth or Sarah), Flora MacArthur Ferris, possibly Margery or Margaret Pate (identified as Pearl Petz), and Alice Ferris. The men are possibly Henry Pate (identified as Alan Petz), Tom Ferris, John Wesley Ferris, James Alexander (Jim) Ferris, William Henry "Bill" Ferris. In the front row are Joseph Perman Ferris, Barbara Rae Johnston Ferris, Wellington Ferris, Merle Dezall Spong, Ila Dezall McClure. Thomas and Elizabeth Ferris and the Pates were visiting from the west, and were originally from Grey County. |
