Description |
View of the main business district, Queen Street, Kincardine. There is a large amount of snow on the road, and several carriages and horses traveling down the street. Signs on the right building on the right say, "New Spring Prints" and "Butternick Patterns" A sign on the hydro pole, reads, "Mille..." Two stores down, a sign says, "Motor Gasoline sold here." Further down the street, a sign reads, "R. Ross & Co. Men's F...." and below that, "City Soon..." or something similar. From right to left the buildings are: 753 Queen St, John Watson Ship Supplies 757 Queen St, Andy Shiells Hardware Store on the south end of the store and Peter McGaw's Grocery & cafeteria on the North end of the store. 761 Queen St (the small white building) D.McInnes Clothing "Golden Lion" in the south end and W.B. McLardy, Merchant/Tailer in the North end. 767 Queen St., the James Henry Block, built 1873. |
