Photograph featuring members of the Greathead family of Southampton. Identified in the photo are: - Joseph Greathead (patriarch), who lived from 1827-1912 [he married Elizabeth Baker (1829-1905)]; - Standing behind his right shoulder is his daughter Marion Ann (1861-1910) [she married Joseph Granville]; - Behind his left shoulder is grand daughter Della [her parents were Frances Greathead and Thomas Wyley]. - Seated to his right is granddaughter Laura (1894-1978) [parents William Greathead and Amanda Schatz. She married Morley Robertson.] - Seated in front is granddaughter Elizabeth (1899-1920) [sister of Laura]. Photo has been matted on cardstock and inscribed in the bottom left corner with, "E. Hart, Southampton, Ont.". |
