Provenance |
In 1957 the MacKenzie-Moffat log house on the 8th Concession of Kinloss Township was purchased, and moved to the museum site in 1958. Bruce County Women's Institute members cleaned and decorated the log house. They set up a summer schedule for W.I. members to take turns acting as hostesses in the log house, welcoming visitors and offering a cookie and cup ot tea. This custom continued until about 1981.
