Description |
This photograph features three women and three men who formed the early Bruce County Museum Committee. Seated, left to right: Wesley Hahn (Wiarton), Emilie Given (Marr), Ann Cornish (Chelsey), and Adele Dudgeon (Dobbington). Standing: Dr. J.F. Morton (Southampton), and Almer Bolander (Port Elgin). They are gathered around artifacts from the original Marine Gallery in the Museum. On the table is a lantern and the figurehead from the lost schooner Cavalier. In front of the table is a life saving ring and behind the table is a County map. |
