Description |
A turnip seeder. The seeder has a main wooden structured body that is painted a faint reddish colour. The body consists of a square like frame with slats connecting the four legs. The front has a large metal drum that is hour glass shaped. The back has a similar drum that is more narrow and made of wood with metal rings on the ends. The seeder has two curved handles attached at the centre frame. The handles move up and down. The centre of the frame has a wooden seed box with circular disc and belt mechanism. The seed box has a narrow iron handle that sits in the centre of the two wooden handles. The frame has some light yellow coloured hand painted decorative designs on the sides. |
