Description |
A set of plastic buttons relating to the Wiarton. Both buttons have the same shape and image but have different colours and dates. The buttons have a cut-out shape of a groundhog holding a pair of sunglasses and an umbrella. The groundhog is emerging from a hole. The text for both buttons is on the stomach area of the groundhog. Part (a) is an orange colour button with gold accents. The centre text reads "Wiarton Ontario 1977". The back of the button has a maker's mark reading "Thomas Hot Stamping (with address of business). The button has a brass coloured single pin with a 'C' shaped closure. The pin is glued and secured by a piece of black plastic. Part (b) is a yellow colour button with red accents. The centre text reads "Wiarton Ontario 1978". The back of the button has a maker's mark reading "Thomas Hot Stamping (with address of business). The button has a brass coloured single pin with a 'C' shaped closure. The pin is glued and secured by a piece of black plastic. |
