Description |
A green khaki wool blend uniform jacket. The jacket has two breast pockets and two hip pockets that all have small brown buttons. The jacket has a four button front closure. The waist has a band of material that looks like a belt. The sleeves of the jacket have Lieutenant rank stars and a single line around the centre. The shoulders have a plain epaulet with "Canada" shoulder title on the end. Both sleeves have a green patch with a gold leaf in the centre. There is a collar badge on the proper left side that is a copper coloured leaf with "44" in the centre. |

The uniform jacket belonged to Percy T. Seibert from Southampton, Ontario. Seibert served with the 160th Bruce Battalion and ranked Lieutenant during the First World War. |
