Description |
A set of 8 flat wooden decorative moldings, likely used for the appearance of legs or decorative elements on furniture. Each sample has their own design. All are in a light brown colour, except (g) which is a dark brown finish. (a) Longest piece, repetitive pattern, the middle of the moulding has two rings around a cylindrical shape piece. The pattern moves from the centre to the top/bottom. The ends have round knobs. (b) similar pattern to a, but shorter in length. The end knobs are more rounded, and there is only one ring in the centre section. (c) middle has long and narrow piece, flat base. Looks similar to a candle in a candle stick holder. (d) similar to c, but shorter. Also has a rounded bottom edge that tapers in. (e) bottom looks similar to an urn shape, then has piece that widens at base and narrows to the top with a single rounded knob. (f) a dark brown finish, darkest in the set. It has a single ring in the middle and two large rounded cone shapes. The ends have two rounded knobs. (g) the smallest, it has a single ring in the middle that divides a circular shape. The end has a tapered neck flowing to a pointed end knob. |
