Description |
A small metal ladle. The ladle is similar in size and shape as a spoon but has a curved handle and a deeper round bowl. The ladle has a straight handle which curves at the top creating a hook. There is text stamped in the metal which reads "Cream Top - PAT Sept 2nd 1924 Mar 3rd 1925". |

This small ladle was designed to remove the cream from the top of a certain style of milk bottle, which had a section for the cream to rise into within the neck of the bottle. This cream ladle was collected by the donor at a garage sale, while collecting items for their cottage. |
