Description |
Pair of eyeglasses and case. Part A: A clamshell style eyeglass case. It is made from tin or another sheet metal and covered in blake imitation leather. It's top is stamped with gold ink, "C.A. FOX & SON / JEWELLERS & OPTICIANS / WALKERTON, ONT." It has a spring loaded hinge that opens to reveal an interior lined with burgundy velvet. Its inner lip is stamped with gold ink, "SAVE YOUR EYES / HAVE YOUR EYES EXAMINED ONCE A YEAR" Part B: A pair of eyeglasses. A thin golden rim contains a pair of oval, lenses joined by a wide bridge. Its ar arms are missing and the bridge is engraved with "KAHN Q". |
