Description |
Part A: A blue Rotary Club banner on a wooden dowel. The banner is made from a stiffened blue satin. The text and imagery on the banner is yellow. The banner reads: "ROTARY CLUB" at the top and "CHESLEY ON" at the bottom. In the middle of the banner is the Rotary Club emblem, a gear with "ROTARY INTERNATIONAL" on the side of the gear. The edges of the banner are finished with yellow thread. The bottom edge of the banner is scalloped and finished with a yellow fringe. The back of the banner is finished with a stiffening fabric. The imprint of the imagery from the front is visible on the back. Part B: The yellow cord used to hang the banner. The cord has a yellow tassle at each end. The cord has a knot at each end, which slides over the ends of the dowel. There is a knot tied in the center of the cord. Part C: The dowel used to hang the banner. The proper right end of the dowel is painted red. The side of the right end has the store sticker on it. |
