Description |
A white porcelain stamp moistener. It has a rectangular shaped basin where a white roller sits inside. The roller has a metal rod in the centre with two brass brackets at the end. The rod sits inside grooves on the inside of the basin. |
Provenance |
The stamp moistener was used at the Bell Furniture Factory in Southampton. Water would be placed in the basin to help moisten the stamps. |
