Description |
A signature quilt with purple stitching and details. The quilt has a main background of white with a purple rectangular border. There are four square blocks across the top and five along the side. The blocks are white with white stitching around the edges and have the design embroidered throughout. The quilt has a flower and diamond shape design. The flowers have a circular centre and petals. The centre of the flower is "1932" and the petals all have the names stitched inside. There are diamond shapes in between the rows that just have names on the inside of the diagonal line. There is a purple border around the embroidered design with a plain white outer edge. The back of the quilt is plain white with quilted batting inside. |

The quilt was given to Rev. Andrew Edington and Grace Edington. Rev. Andrew Edington conducted services at Cape Croker, Purple Valley, Adamsville and Colpoy's Bay between 1929-1937. Grace Edington was a nurse. |
