Description |
a- A hand-held donation box. The box is an irregular shape, with a much smaller top than bottom. There is a curved handle in the negative space created by the different sized top and bottom. The handle has two lines down the outside and has a screw on the underside of the top end. The top of the box has a small inset, with a slit cut into it. There is a drawer near the bottom of the box, at the front. The box is hollow. At the back of the box cavity is the reciever for a friction catch. The reciever is secured to the bottom of a block that is attached to the inside of the back of the box. The box has a mahogany coloured finish. b- The drawer has a silver-finish knob that is secured with a screw. The front of the drawer has a mahogany finish, while the rest of the drawer is unfinished wood. The bottom of the inside of the drawer has very prominant wood grain. The insert end of the friction latch is attached to the back of the drawer with small screws |
