Description |
A set of shoulder pads. The pads are divided into two parts. The top half has felted padding and brown plastic cups at the top of the shoulders. The pads are secured by blue leather in the centre of the chest and tied with laces. Each side has two arm pads that are rectangular in shape. The arm pads are white and have the same felt along the edges with ribbed cotton padding in the centre. The arm pads are joined by elastic at the top of the shoulder pads. |

The shoulder pads belonged to Allan Brown. He was born in Southampton and played both baseball and hockey locally and later in Stratford. Allan was killed April 20, 1963 near Stratford in a truck and train collision while on duty with the CNR as train fireman. |
