Description |
A small gold pin (a) with pin closure (b). The pin is gold coloured and circular in shape. There is a red crown at the top. The centre has a white enamel background with a single red maple leaf on top with "40" in gold. There is a blue border below which reads "Legion". Below the banner are three red poppies. There is text along the outer circle edge that reads "Memoriam Eorum Retinebimus". The pin has a butterfly clasp closure. |

The pin belonged to James Craig who served in the First and Second World War. He was an active member of the Wiarton Legion Branch No. 208 and helped with the development of the existing branch location. He is listed as Past President in 1949. |
