Description |
One jacket. Jacket is made of black wool and white leather. Neckline is rounded with a V-shaped collar made of ribbed cotton in black and white stripes. Sleeves are long and straight with cuffs of the same ribbed cotton in black and white stripes. Running the length of the sleeves, down the centre, is a white leather stripe. On the proper left sleeve is a rectangular patch with "MANAGER" in black font on a white background. Edge of patch is red. On the proper right sleeve is a round patch with a maroon background. Patch has a gold thread edge and the letters "O H A" at the top. Beneath the letters is the Ontario crest. Beneath the crest are two crossed hockey sticks with "JUNIOR D CHAMPIONS 57-58". Jacket fastens up the front the six white domed metal snaps. Around waist is ribbed cotton with black and white stripes. There is a pocket on each side which is edged with white leather. On the proper left chest is a large patch. Patch is a large red letter C with two small scrolls - one on the top and one on the bottom and crossed hockey sticks. In the centre of the C is a white hockey puck on a black background. In the scrolls are "1957-58" and "JUNIOR D". Within the large letter C is "CHESLEY COLTS" in white lettering. On the white puck in red lettering is "O.H.A. W.O.A.A. CHAMPS". Jacket is lined with a black satin-like material. |

This jacket is thought to have belonged to Bob Ankenmann who was the manager of the Chesley Colts during the 1957 and 1958 seasons. |
