Description |
One wooden plaque with bronze coloured decorative motifs. The plaque is a dark brown colour with a glossy varnish finish. The plaque is a crest shape with three points at the top, curved sides and a single point at the end. The top of the plaque has a banner with two ribbon shapes below. The banner reads "Fitton-Parker Furniture Ltd" with the bottom ribbons reading "The" and "Trophy". Below the banner is a crest with the letters "S C S" at the top and an image of a lighthouse below. At the base of the crest is a laurel wreath with an urn in the centre. There is a hand holding the base of the laurel wreath. Below is a ribbon banner that reads "Science". There are three small bronze plaques with text engraved. One plaque reads "Vernon Saunders 1939" and another reads "Dorothy Doran 1940" and the final one reads "Shirley Sutherland 1941". The back of the plaque has a maker's stamp reading "Acme Trophies 459 Church Street Toronto Ont". There is a single eyelet hook on the back with a wire attached. |
