Description |
One Victory medal belonging to Neil MacLennan. The medal has a rainbow coloured ribbon (a) which attaches to a silvermedallion (b). The front side of the medallion has an image of George V bust with writing along the outside that reads "Georivs V Britt: Omn: Res Et Ind:Imp:,. The other side has an image of a man on top of a horse with "1914" and :1918". The sides of the medallion have inscribed "651243 Spr. N. McLennan C.E.". The top of the medallion has a decorative bar that attaches the medallion to the ribbon. |

The medal belonged to Neil MacLennan. Neil was born October 20, 1895 at Lot 24, Concession 3, Huron Township. He was part of the 160th Bruce Battalion in the First World War and served with the 4th Engineers. He was also a barber. |
