Description |
A blue and black wool hat with gold details. The hat looks similar to an officer's cap. It has a round top with a narrow brim. The main body of the hat is blue wool with a black ribbon running along the edge of the base. The brim is a shiny black with a finished edge. There is a gold tassel rope that runs along the edge of the hat where the brim is connected. The tassel has two knots tied on the left and right side. There are two silver buttons located at the ends of the tassel that have the same harp design in the middle. At the centre of the hat there is a gold maple leaf pin that sits in between the black band and blue top. The inside of the hat is red with a black ribbon insert and brown leather headband strap that runs along the entire inner edge. There is a maker's tag that is a brown colour with gold writing that reads "Uniform Caps by Sainthill Levine - Division of Sainlee Industries, Limited". There is a white paper tag inside the cap by the manufacturer with the date the cap was produced and measurements. |
