Description |
A red and white signature quilt. The quilt has a main white background with red embroidered names and shapes. There are diamond like shapes that have names on each side and in the centre of the diamond creating a cross shape. There are eleven single diamond shapes throughout. The centre has several diamond shapes creating a larger cross-like shape consisting of three diamonds vertically and one on each side. In all diamond shape centres there is a "WA" surrounded by a circle. The quilt backing is plain white cotton. |

The quilt was made by a Women's Auxiliary in the Tara/Invermay area for Second World War efforts and come into the possession of Muriel (Fenton) Busch. |
