Description |
A wooden cream skimmer. The skimmer has no finish and is a light brown colour. There is one handle that sticks straight up with 3 holes at the top. The handle is attached to the centre brace of the body. The base consists of a square shaped support with curved sides. Inside are two rectangular shaped flaps that move up and down when the handle is lifted. |

The skimmer was used at the Paisley Creamery which was owned and operated by John A. Logie. The skimmer would have been used in the butter making process. |
