Description |
A yellow coloured metal milk can. The can has a round base and is cylindrical in shape. The neck tapers in towards the top and supports a circular lid. The body is mainly painted a dark yellow colour. There are two handles at the base of the neck on each side. The handles have text stamped on the inside that reads "GSWJ". The front of the can has text stamped that reads "Teeswater Creamery Ltd". The opposite side has red and white stickers that reads "200". The base of the neck has small numbers stamped at the centre that reads "21 1/4". The bottom has six holes along the edge of the base. |

The milk can is from the Teeswater Creamery. The Teeswater Creamery was established in 1875 and was operated by John Inglis. It was the first established creamery in Ontario and the second in Canada. |
