Description |
A thin wooden sign. It is circular in shape and made of masonite board. There is an image on the front of the sign of a gold belt along the outer edge that is buckled and the tip is hanging over the loop. There is black text along the outer border that reads "1858 Village of Lucknow 1958". In the centre of the circle there is a red background with a blue and white crest. The crest has a gold leaf in the centre. There is a banner below that reads "The Sepoy Town". The back of the sign has a faint stamp that reads "LW". |

The sign was part of a municipal transfer in 2016. The sign is believed to have hung on the walls of the Lucknow Council Chamber. |
