| Description | A red, green and ivory coloured coverlet.  The coverlet is woven wool and has multiple patterns. It is square with a red and green wool yarn tassels along the left and right side and bottom edge. The patterns are duplicated along each edge.  The centre of the coverlet has a 12 point star in the ivory colour. Outling the star is a hexagon shape with a rose/floral pattern surrounding it. There is a middle square section with a heart shaped design. The outer edge has a temple/cathedral/church building in the centre with a pair of doves on either side of it. There is a pair of deer (buck and a doe) on the corners. The animals and building are surrounded by a maple leaf pattern. The coverlet is doubled-weaved Jacquard loom. | 
| Provenance | The coverlet was originally made for Henry Boettger to give to his daughter Aleda Boettger. The Boettger family lived and farmed in Carrick Township, Bruce County. Aleda Boettger was born in Neustadt on February 5, 1897. |
