Description |
A brown velvet muff. The muff is long rectangular shaped that tapers in towards the sides. Both sides have circular shaped holes that show the white cotton lining on the inside. The hole openings have a finished seam with some black silk ribbon pieces. Under the side holes, the fabric is puckered to create an indent below. The muff has a white cotton lining that is stuffed with feathers. |

The muff was used by Nancy Elizabeth Cunningham (nee Hemstreet), of Glammis. Nancy and her husband Joseph ran the general store in Glammis. |
