Description |
A set of three clerical collars (a-c) in a black leather case (d). The collars are the same white colour and have the same basic shape but are slightly different sizes. Collar (a) has a main rectangular shaped cotton backing with two strips of white cotton sewn at the side. The strips are separated in the centre creating two bands. Collar (b) has the same shape and strips but the strips are smaller shape. There is also a pink coloured tag adhered to the underside of the cotton flap that reads "7OR.9". Collar (c) has the same shape but is smaller in size. It also has a pink tag that reads "7OR.9". The case (d) is black leather and is rectangular in shape. It has a main flap at the front with a single back button closure. The inside of the case has two narrow flaps to secure the collars inside. The case is lined in a grey toned cotton. |

The case and collars were found in the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Southampton, Ontario by the donor who is the Clerk of Session. |
