Description |
One beet topping knife. Knife is made of steel and has wooden scale handles. Handle is rectangular in shape and tapers slightly smaller where it meets the blade. Blade is straight, and rectangular in shape with the end tapered larger than at the handle. Riveted to the end is a steel hook. There are no maker's marks. |

This beet topping knife was found in the collection and could not be matched to the accession register. This style of knife was used to harvest sugar beets and chop off their leaves. |
