Description |
Two silver medals awarded to the Champs of the BBL (Bruce Baseball League) in 1926 (.004a and .004b). Both medals are made of silver and are diamond shaped with small leaves on each side. Inside the diamond is a representation of a baseball diamond and inside this is an upraised image of a baseball batter, ready to swing a bat. Attached to the medal is a swivelling suspender. On the rear of the medals on the upper portion is upraised text that reads "PRESENTED BY A.G. SPALDING & BROS.". There is a small line beneath the text. Below the line engraved into the medal is "BRUCE B.B.L. CHAMPS 1926 TEESWATER." Below this is "STERLING". |
