Description |
One uniform hat. Hat has a flat round crown which is a forest green coloured wool. Crown tapers into break which is wrapped with a red wool band and features a gold cord, which buttons to each side with a brass button with a lyre on it. Above the band is a brass badge that is a lyre with maple leaves around the bottom. Peak is wrapped in black vinyl, is straight out from the break, and is rounded. Inside is a brown synthetic sweatband, and in the centre of the crown is a round label with: " HAMILTON UNIFORM CAP CO. LTD", "214 KING WILLIAM ST.", HAMILTON, ONT." and 7 1/8" |

This hat belonged to Lincoln Doll, who started playing the trombone in the Southampton band at the age of 12. This uniform dates to 1963. |
