Description |
A white and blue button with a plastic front and metal backing with a pin attached. The button is circular in shape and has a main white background (now yellowed in colour). There is text forming a half circle at the top section that reads "Teeswater Old Boys and Girls Reunion". There is small text at the bottom that reads "July 1, 2, 3, 1905". In the centre of the button there is a blue maple leaf with a banner in the centre that reads "Canada". There is a clear plastic coating over the front of the button to protect it. The back of the button has a metal backing with a straight pin adhered to it. |
Provenance |
The button was collected by the donor and his family. It most likely belonged to the donor's mother, Velda Margaret Douglas (nee Thornton). The button is from the Teeswater Old Boys and Girls reunion on July 1, 2 and 3, 1905. |
