Description |
Hand held barometer and case. Part A: Gold coloured metal casing with glass lens in front and dials inside which will rotate with the turning of the case. The dials are divided off into equal sections and have numbers on each. From a centre post is an arm (arrow). Dial reads "RAIN CHANGE FAIR" "C.POTTER TORONTO" The numbers are in even thousands on the outer dial and on the centre dial it is from 21-31. Ring attached at top. Part B: Case consists of two separate parts and is made of darl brown leather, with a purple lining. The lid is lined with silk while the bottom is lined with felt. Bottom part of case has a brass peg which is the opening mechanism, and has an indented section with there top loop of the barometer sticks out. Lid also has a small brass hinge. |
