Description |
One Minister's Chair. The chair is made of dark brown wood with red velvet seat and backing. The chair has a high back with a decorative triangular top with three crowns. The arms are open on the sides and have a small carved knob at the top. The front legs are carved with a spindle type of design. The centre has a decorative scalloped edge. The back legs are plain. The chair has a padded seat and back made of plush red velvet material. |

The chair was last used in Lion's Head United Church on April 18th, 1962. It was likely made ca. 1885 for the Presbyterian Church in Lion's Head by W.B. Moshier. |
