The item was part of the transfer of ownership from the former Chesley Heritage & Woodworking Museum that closed in 2014. The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie lawfully absorbed the Chesley Heritage & Woodworking Musueum and its holdings which were then donated to the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre. There was no transfer of records or paperwork that documented the origins and/or donor of items and could not be provided for some of the items being transferred. |
