Description |
A white signature quilt sheet with red embroidery stitching. The sheet is thin white cotton and rectangular in shape. It has a thick seamed border with red herringbone stitching around it. The sheet has 20 square blocks with four across the top and five down. Each block has a main diamond shape with names along the edges and a smaller size square inside the diamond with names along the edges. The blocks are outlined with red herringbone stitching. One of the centre blocks has "Arkwright Wos. Institute" with names of past Secretary Treasurers from 1915-1926. The other centre block has stitching reading "Presidents" with names from 1915-1926. |

The signature quilt sheet is for the Arkwright Women's Institute. It was amongst items that belonged to the Fred and Edna Atkinson family of the Tara and Arkwright area. The items were passed down through the family. |
