Description |
A copper toned mug with engraved writing on the front. The mug has a wide round base that is slightly elevated to support the main cup. It has a smooth finish with a slight indent in the centre creating two tiers. The cup is cylindrical in shape that narrow slightly towards the top. There is a 'C' shaped handle on the right side. Inside the cup it has a clear glass bottom. There is engraving of an image and text on the front. The image is of a crest with two brooms and a curling stone at the top. Inside the crest it reads "Curl-Master". Below the crest there is text that reads "Port Elgin - Ontario - 1981". |

The mug was acquired by the Archivist at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. The mug was likely presented to a participant of the "Curl-Master" in Port Elgin, Ontario in 1981. |
