The wall hanging is made from cotton and is rectangular in shape. It has quilt padding within and has a blue border and white background. At the top is an oval shaped Women's Institute logo. Logo has "W.I." in cursive at centre in yellow and on each side has a maple leaf. Logo has a blue oval border and has on it "FOR HOME AND COUNTRY". Below logo is "BELMORE W.I.". |

The quilted wall hanging belonged to the Belmore Women's Institute. The W.I. was disbanded June 2013. |
