Description |
A wedding headpiece. The headpiece is semi-circular in shape and has a wire frame covered in lace. The sides are crown like in appearance with a three point triangular shaped design. The entire piece is covered with lace and has pearl bead accents to create a leaf like design. There is embroidered flower ribbon around the outer edges that have some pearl bead centres. |

The headpiece was worn with the wedding dress by Marjorie Eileen Thompson when she married Gordon Brown on November 20, 1954 at the Anglican Rectory in Paisley, Ontario. Marjorie lived in Greenock Township, west of Cargill. |
