Description |
Black, cast iron seal press. There are three main components, the body, the handle, and the stamping surfaces. These components are joined with a metal post. Stamped on the side of the base on the proper right is "MADE IN CANADA". The handle is also cast iron and has a wavy shape. The top stamping surface is bronze in colour and has the deboss of the seal image. On the top of the stamping surface "C.W. MACK CO."; "TORONTO" is etched. The bottom stamping surface is silver in colour and has the seal image embossed. The seal image is circular in shape. There is a rope border around the outside edge. "BRUCE CO-OPERATIVE MEDICAL SERVICES" and a star, follows the shape of the border. There is a dotted interior border. At the center is a four-pointed star with two sides significantly longer than the other two. The body of the seal press is hollow and has two crevices. The front crevice has metal poured in it. |
