Description |
A silver medal with mesh ribbon and clip at top. There is a circular medallion at the base that has an image of a ship on one side and engraved text on the other. The text reads "Presented to George Currie for heroic conduct in saving the ship wrecked crew of the propeller New York Oct 1876". The medallion is attached my a silver metal mesh type of ribbon with a buckle near the top. There is clasp at the the top attached by a chain. |
