Description |
A silver commemorative coin. The coin is circular in shape and has raised text and images on both sides. The front side shows an image of a lighthouse in the centre with a circle shape behind it. There is text around the inner border reading "Old Boys & Girls Reunion 1990 Kincardine". There is small text on the proper right side of the lighthouse reading "$2.00 - Value in Kincardine expires Sept.9-1990". The reverse side of the coin has a Kinsmen logo in the centre with a banner of ten maple leaves around it. There is text on the inner border reading "Serving Kincardine's Greatest Needs - 50 Years". The outer edge of the coin is textured by a small vertical striped pattern. |

During the 1990 Kincardine Old Boys & Girls Reunion, the Town of Kincardine endorsed the use of a Kincardine Reunion Trade Coin. This became a legal tender for a specific period of time during the summer of 1990. |
