Description |
A smaller watercolour painting depicting a still life scene. The painting is vertical configuration and the composition shows a vase with flowers. The vase is a dark blue colour and the flowers inside appear to be pink roses. The background and table top surface are in brown tones with a slightly darker tone horizon line to show some perspective. The painting is supported in a white and gold metal frame. The frame is mainly white with a gold decorative detail on the outer edge and a braided design along the glass line. There are some flecks of gold and pink on the white painted areas. The back has a maroon coloured velvet backing with a angled support piece. There is a white label on the back of the frame stating the artwork is from the Hannah Rusk Collection. |
