Stuart Macpherson was born on May 25, 1898, and raised at Lot 18, Concession 12, Kincardine Township, Ontario. He was a farmer when he enlisted for service in the First World War on April 13, 1916. He served with the 160th Battalion, and others including the 1st Battalion during his military career. Stuart Macpherson was killed in action on October 1, 1918, in France.
