Fitton-Parker Furniture Ltd. begain operating when it purchased from Bell Furniture in 1937, officially taking over the site June 1, 1937. Fitton-Parker Furniture produced bedroom suites, liquor cabinets, cedar chests, television cabinets and dining room suites. The company ceased to operate in 1969 when Sklar-Peppler Ltd. bought the factory. The building is the only furniture factory building still standing in 2015. It is situated on Albert Street (Highway 21), north of Spence Street, and is the Southampton Market in 2015, at 140 Albert Street S. Source: Hilborn, Robin R.
